project from a client we have a 

strict production procedure. Our writers include a cassette with a rough version of their song and a lyric sheet, denoting 

verses, choruses and general structure. 

The producer will spend a day familiarizing himself with the submitted material, then over the next week he will begin to

 visualize how the finished recording will sound. 

This allows him to plan in advance what artists he will require when he eventually enters the studio for recording. 

After rehearsals the actual laying down of tracks 

will take between 4 - 6 hours. This recording will be the  backbone of your song and will be mixed ready for 

vocals to be added at a later date. 

The vocals are added later to allow the 

producer time to fully develop his creative perspective. Once vocals & harmonies have been added the song

 is ready to go into the mix down phase. It is during this time that

 edits may be made and subtle rearrangements finalized. The song is then mastered to DAT tape. It is from this

 DAT that the CD will be pressed. Once pressed it is packaged

 and a copy is sent to you, the songwriter. Promotion is simply about letting people know what you have to offer. 

The key word in this fickle day and age is HYPE! Obviously

 the more 'attractive' your promotion subject, the easier it is to promote, and so the design and concept of your 

CD cover is very important. A diamond wrapped in newspaper 

may go unnoticed, yet a piece of gravel wrapped in gold leaf may attract a great deal of attention. We put a lot of effort into 

designing eye catching graphics that will reinforce

 the concept of your song. We make your CD stand out from the crowd, so a potential record company or customer will 

desire to listen to it. We then have a network of clients whom 

we send copies of your CD to. We promote in many ways - face to face - via the mail - and in MP3 format over the Internet.
