1.> Write down your lyrics in a 'verse - chorus' structure, outlining the basic format that you wish to hear on the finished CD.  i.e.. verse, chorus, verse, verse, chorus, bridge... etc. Include the chords if you know them. 

 

2.> To the best of your ability sing or hum your song and record it onto an audio cassette or CD, following the format set out on your lyric sheet.

3.>  Include on a piece of paper all the information you want to tell us about your song. Tell us what style you want your song recorded in, i.e. 'pop, country, classical.' - Better still, think of a track that you would like us to emulate. e.g. " I would like my song 'single girl' recorded in the style of 'frozen' by Madonna ." If you have a copy of the song include it on your audio cassette. Do you want male or female vocals? What is your target  audience? i.e. Top 40chart/stage show/children.
